Tech Revolution: Krein Meets Amir Ati and His Project “Morning Tech”

During our internal “Trend&Tech Billboard” meeting on June 21st, we had the pleasure of having with us Amir Ati, a Senior UX Designer from Florence, who introduced us to Morning Tech, an innovative tech news service that delivers daily insights directly to your inbox. Amir shared the journey from the initial idea to the product's go-live, with some interesting surprises along the way.

Amir's idea stemmed from the realization that the Italian editorial market lacked a delivery service for tech news with high-quality content, easily accessible for the local audience. Most importantly, there was no offering with a "neutral tone," free from subjective commentary, which inevitably "taints" the information, ensuring a "certified" quality of the news.

In February, Amir launched “Morning Tech,” which every morning from Monday to Friday at 6 AM, sends out five news articles selected from the international press that can be read in five minutes. Each tech news item includes a summary and a link to the original source. The service also features a daily newsletter with updated tech news.

In just five minutes a day, Morning Tech keeps you updated on the tech world. 

A few weeks ago, Amir was a guest at our internal “Trend & Tech Billboard” to present the behind-the-scenes of his project. From February to June, the Morning Tech newsletter gathered around 820 subscriptions, averaging 15 subscriptions per day, and with an average open rate of 63%.

The numbers involving AI are particularly interesting. Indeed, Morning Tech is a product developed almost exclusively with AI, from competitor analysis to branding to content creation. 

"Without AI, I simply wouldn’t have started Morning Tech," - says Amir.

Besides the importance of AI in launching a digital business, Amir's story has taught us that constant optimization and a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) are fundamental keys to growth. These are principles we strive to incorporate into our projects with clients too, enhancing each idea with creativity and strategy.
