A New Corporate Website for Piel by McPhy

McPhy is global leader in clean hydrogen for industries and mobility since 2008, designing and manufacturing electrolyzers, refueling stations and energy storage solutions.

The Ask

Krein partnered with McPhy to enhance Piel's presence in the European market through a Website Makeover. Piel, McPhy's brand that produces water-based hydrogen and oxygen generators for "light industries" and SMEs, needed a Website that aligned with the Customer Journey and highlighted its unique identity within McPhy's portfolio.

This was achieved through a comprehensive analysis of customer experience (CX), market trends, and competitors, which informed the design and development process of the New Website.

Strategy & How

Krein conducted workshops with McPhy's personnel to analyze customer experience (CX), competitors, and the company's value proposition. This effort resulted in a redesigned User Experience (UX) with a clear Buying Journey map. The focus of the project then shifted to user interaction. By studying Piel's existing website, user personas, mapping the information architecture, and researching industry-specific keywords, new SEO-friendly content was created. Finally, Krein built a modern Website using a fast and responsive headless Jamstack architecture. McPhy's involvement was ensured throughout the development process through routine catch-ups for draft validation.

Final solutions

Krein delivered a fast, SEO-optimized, and mobile-friendly Website built with WordPress and equipped with user behavior tracking tools. Aligned with Piel's rebranding, the Website guides users through a conversion funnel optimized for Lead Generation. The new information architecture now includes content about processes and certifications, detailed product descriptions, and interactive 3D models of Piel's generators. As a B2B Marketing Agency and Piel's main strategic partner, Krein proposed further enhancements: optimizing post-sale services through a personal area with a built-in 3D product configurator and implementing a LinkedIn Strategy to bolster this growth-driving Website.
